Because it’s Friday, another sought-after tip coming your way! 🤍💚
Are you mindful of your senses the first thing you wake up in the morning? Are you someone who always rushes to get up or take the time to linger in bed a little bit more? What’s your habit like in the morning?... 🌞🌅
I tend to linger for another 5-10mins in bed as I typically wakes up earlier than my alarm. I’ll have that good long stretch in bed, breathing in prayers, remembering God’s promises that are new every morning… I will hear the sound of tennis balls bouncing back and forth from the neighbour. When there’s a little breeze, I’ll hear the chimes from my door. Or sometimes, I’ll listen to the dog upstairs when he’s scratching the floor or maybe barking for food. Small things, signs of life. Mundane, and yet not taking for granted.
Now, what’s the smell that hits you when you first get out of the bedroom? I wish I have a spouse who will brew morning coffee so I could wake up in that beautiful coffee aroma - well, I don’t have one and that’s another story to tell. (Or nothing to tell actually 😂😆)
And here goes the new scent i’ve been waking up to - the fresh scent of Eucalyptus! It’s now everywhere in my small apartment, from the bathroom, to hallway and the living room. It’s been a week and my home smells heaven, and I was told that this could last for months. The drier the leaves are, the more smell it holds. I got these from Tiong Bahru market over the weekend. It’s lovely to look at and for 15 dollars, a small investment to last for months. I’ll let you know if true in the next month or so!
