A living area should look good, but it should also support the way a family uses the home every day. 🏠✨
Last week at a 4-room BTO in Macpherson, our experienced interior designer Zan Lai shared how he planned the living area with both function and comfort in mind. One of the key details was the concealed storeroom door, designed to blend neatly with the L-shaped cabinet so the overall look feels clean and seamless.
For the wardrobe niche, Zan designed it taller than usual to better fit the homeowner’s lifestyle, while also adding a power track for more flexible daily use. These small details make the space more practical without making the design feel heavy. 🔌
The TV feature wall was created using partition work, paired with two LED strips to make the living area feel warmer and cosier. The L-shaped TV console also comes with storage, giving the kids a place to keep their toys while doubling as a study or drawing table. It can even be used as a settee, making the whole area more versatile for the family. 💛
