The 3D printing initiative by HDB is finally taking shape in our Brickland Weaves project, the first Public Housing estate to pilot 3D printed concrete structures in Singapore. Our JGP Architecture (S) Pte Ltd team witnessed the first elements to be printed at CES_Innovfab yesterday. Brickland Weaves sits in Tengah, the first HDB town planned with smart tech town-wide. As we move towards TOP completion, we will be printing column claddings, shelters and arrival canopies. Watch this space for our innovative journey with Chip Eng Seng (CES) Group.

Bounded by Tengah Road, Tengah Boulevard, and Tengah Park Avenue, Parc Glen @ Tengah comprise 10 residential blocks between 8 and 13 storeys, offer 1,008 units ( 2-room Flexi, 3-room, 4-room and 5-room BTO flats ) with some blocks housing rental flats.
Tengah will be the first town to integrate housing developments with the surrounding greenery and biodiversity; first to have a car-free town centre next to a lush green park; first to have town-wide smart technologies; and there will be walking and cycling paths along all roads amongst others.

Congratulations to ActiveSG Circle on the successful opening of ActiveSG Sport Park @ Teck Ghee.

Officially opened on 25 January, Ang Mo Kio’s ActiveSG Sport Park is a landmark development featuring amenities such as a sheltered multi-generational pool and a calming pod designed to support individuals with special needs, an industry first for sports facility here. Designed in collaboration with the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), the Sport Park reflects a strong commitment towards inclusive and active living.

Built on the site of the former Ang Mo Kio Swimming Complex, the Sport Park was completed in two years and was officially opened by Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong.

"It has been an honour to be part of the team behind this a first indoor and multi-generational aqua park. More than just a complex, we hope that it encourages healthy living and graceful ageing under one roof" says Peter Chew, Managing Director, JGP Architecture.

Congratulations to SATS-Creuers Cruise Services on the completion of the Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore extension. We are honoured to have been part of the team contributing to this important development for Singapore’s growing cruise sector.

The enhanced facilities will better support increasing cruise calls and visitor volumes, strengthening Singapore’s position as a key gateway for regional and international cruise travel. This marks a meaningful step in supporting the continued growth of cruise travel in Singapore.

JGP’s 40th anniversary celebration was a vibrant and unforgettable evening brimming with pride, gratitude, and joy. The event was honoured by the presence of Guest of Honour Mr Eric Chua, "Senior Parliamentary Secretary", "Ministry of Law" & "Ministry of Social and Family Development", together with many distinguished guests who lent prestige to the occasion.

In a meaningful gesture of giving back, JGP commemorated this milestone with generous donations to Dunman High School, Nan Hua High School, Ren Ci Hospital, and Singapore Thong Chai Medical Institution, reaffirming its dedication to supporting the community. The celebration shone even brighter with captivating performances by Chairman Mr James Goh, Ms Dawn Yip, Mr Mervin Wee, Mr Victor Ow, and Mr David Teo, making the night truly joyous, heartfelt, and memorable.

JGP Nature Walk in celebration of Earth Day 2025!

It was a day filled with fun activities designed to connect us with the environment and each other. The highlight was a scenic nature walk, offering a chance to explore the outdoors while embracing the spirit of sustainability. Beyond the walk, the event provided a fantastic opportunity for team bonding, as colleagues came together to enjoy the fresh air, share experiences, and strengthen connections in a relaxed, natural setting. It was an exciting, meaningful day that we won’t forget!

Located next to Boon Keng MRT Station, flanked by four major roads, the development is public housing comprising four 30- to 37-storeys of towers providing 580 units. It is served by a 7-storey multi-storey car park, a childcare center, Future Social Community Facilities (FSCF), communal and recreational spaces.

In planning the site, the precinct is designed to achieve seamless connectivity within the development and with the urban fabric. A pedestrianized zone connects all the facilities on the ground level. Linkways and canopies connect the residential towers to the facilities, as well as externally to the main street and Boon Keng MRT Station.

In the design of the residential blocks, mid-level sky terraces are proposed, with the 8th storey terrace connected to the car park structure rooftop. These spaces are intended to provide residents with outdoor respite and recreation, and enhance the design of the building facade.
