On November 12, VSGT Maribor โ€“ Academy of Culinary Arts and Tourism hosted an exceptional event as part of the GourmetPAST project.

We presented the project results, explored the richness of culinary heritage, enjoyed a tasting of dishes prepared by our students, and proudly launched our recipe book, created based on traditional recipes developed during the projectโ€™s co-creation workshops. ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿฒ

The event brought together culinary experts, students, and food enthusiasts from the wider public. We highlighted the importance of preserving and passing down the traditions of Slovenian, Italian, and Romanian dishes to younger generations. ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿงพ

With the occasion of the multiplier event in Romania, the closing event of the Gourmetpast project, students of Colegiul Viilor and the Technologic high school Marin Grigore Nastase Tartasesti have cooked two traditional menus in their own interpretation: ciulama with mamaliga and pumpkin pie as desert and chicken ostropel
with mashed potatoes and apple pie.
Chef Sorin Stoica, a has demonstrated the preparation of two contemprary recipes, based on traditional ingredients: amuse bouche and aries pastrami! Images speak for themselves!

With the occasion of the multiplier event in Romania, we had the pleasure and honour to welcome Chef Sorin Stoica, who talked about the richness of Romanian gastronomy and traditional dishes.
He prepared two contemporary dishes based on traditional heritage, showing students how to actualise and innovate Romanian gastronomy.

The Romanian multiplier event organised in the frame of the Gourmetpast project was held on October 5, with the occasion of the World Teachers day! The event was a good opportunity for students from the Colegiul Economic Viilor and Liceul Tehnologic Marin Grigore Nastase Tartasesti to get together and cook traditional Romanian dishes in their own interpretation, under the guidance of their teachers. Our students were excited to discover the rich culinary heritage of Slovenian, Italian and Romanian cuisine. They prepared traditional ๐ซ๐ž๐œ๐ข๐ฉ๐ž๐ฌ with a modern twist and cooked their creations deliciously. ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿณ
