"The idea was to play with linearity and create interest in it through deliberate breaks and even breaking off of the linear shape itself into an angular shape which eventually merges into another linear shape but has a different visual weight to it. Interest in linearity is also explored through different materials and how their different visual aesthetics and weight can add a whole new dimension to the overall design."

"The idea was to design a façade that is unique in its appearance and presents a stunning visual balance. The concrete screen represents a dynamic element of the facade. It sits boastfully on top of the glass façade which cuts through the visually dense design element of the elevation and instead makes it seem light and as if the screens are afloat in the air. The glass façade in itself is framed in thick metal frame as if pictures in a portrait which once again adds a unique element to the overall design."

"The idea was to design with a glass façade and a feeling of openness in the entire design including an open layout plan of the house. The Glass elevation is deliberately kept on the North side to keep the house from overheating while at the same time providing a feeling of openness. The angular shape of the façade creates an interesting dynamic with the glass façade as it is designed to appear massive against the light glass façade and balance the overall elevation effectively."

"Facade is a crucial feature, it set expectations and defines the feel of structure. Through repetition of panels and cantilevered terraces movements and proportions are induced in the building. The centralized glass window balances the whole design. Monochromatic colors like white, black, and grey create a modern exterior."

"The idea was to reimagine the traditional concept of local industrial architecture into something that is practical, and safe, but focuses on aesthetics as well. Things are kept minimal yet interesting through the concept of solid and void, there is one solid mass - the walls which are further given depth through levels and then the void mass - the glass panels which create an interesting contrast against the levels of the walls and finally the planters add a fresh breath of greenery."
