2023年4月1日至3日，自然资源部 (NH) 和森林管理和森林监督基金会 (SBB) 官员组成的代表团前往 Sipaliwini 区的 Poeketie 村对中国电建集团江西省电力建设有限公司进行的苏里南村庄光伏微电网光伏项目（二期）进行考察。在这次定向访问期间，代表团检查了待安装输电线路的桩的质量等。在Poeketie，能源厂已经开始建设，这将为周围的各个村庄提供全天24小时的可再生能源。
From April 1 to 3, 2023, a delegation of officials from the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Foundation for Forest Management and Forest Watch came to Poeketie Village, Sipaliwini District to visit the Suriname Villages Micro-grid Solar Project (Phase II) constructed by POWERCHINA JIANGXI ELECTRIC POWER CONSTRUCTION CO., LTD.. During this orientation visit, the delegation checked the quality of the piles of the transmission lines to be installed, etc. In Poeketie, construction has begun on a power plant that will provide the surrounding villages with renewable energy 24 hours a day.
