𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞: 𝐀 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬. ⏳
I often hear: " how fast can you get this done?" I love the enthusiasm, but architecture is a marathon, not a sprint. To build a home that lasts, you cannot rush the foundation of the plan.
Here is a realistic look at the timeline for our professional services:
𝟏. 𝐒𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 & 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 (𝟏–𝟐 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬)
We don’t just visit; we analyze. I assess the land, orientation, and local conditions, followed by a report that informs all future design decisions.
𝟐. 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 (𝟑–𝟔 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬)
This is the "testing" phase. We explore concepts, refine the flow, and ensure the 3D model fits your vision and your site perfectly. This phase is iterative—we adjust until it’s right.
𝟑. 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 (𝟒–𝟖 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬)
Once the concept is locked, we move to the technical phase. This includes technical drawings, specifications, and precise material lists. We are turning a visual dream into a professional construction manual.
𝟒. 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 (𝐕𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐮𝐩 𝐭𝐨 𝟐 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐬)
This is the step that depends on external factors (the building department). While we prepare a "permit-ready" file, the timeline here is controlled by the speed of the government review process.
𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜?
Because quality requires coordination. If we rush the design, we risk mistakes on-site. If we rush the documentation, the permit gets rejected.
My commitment is to move as fast as quality allows, so you don't face surprises during construction.
