It starts with a single breath....
In today's world, we face numerous challenges and difficult situations that hinder our daily lives, including pandemics, natural disasters, wars, political and economic uncertainty, and the increasing role of artificial intelligence (AI).
One way to overcome these challenges is through mindfulness.
Pranasathan is a place for cultivating mindfulness by focusing on breath to bring our awareness back to the present moment.
The lines and shapes used within the building are inspired by the calm and mindful expression of breath. The movement of breath is translated into the expansion and contraction of the interior space, influencing the building's exterior.
The meticulously arranged SPC wood from Smartmatt creates curves and rhythmic spacing, enhancing the emotional and sensory experience for everyone entering Pranasathan. The synthetic wood materials and structure are fully detachable and re-assemble, allowing for shape adjustments to suit various activities, functions, and the unpredictable size and shape of the site.

ปราณสถาน
ในโลกที่พวกเราอาศัยอยู่ ณ ปัจจุบันมีปัจจัยและสถานการณ์เลวร้ายต่าง ๆ ที่ทำให้เป็นอุปสรรคในการใช้ชีวิตทุกวันของเรา ไม่ว่าจะเป็น โรคระบาด ,ภัยพิบัติทางธรรมชาติ, สงคราม, การเมืองและเศรษฐกิจที่ไม่แน่นอน หรือแม้แต่การมีบทบาทของปัญญาประดิษฐ์ AI.
สิ่งหนึ่งที่จะทำให้เราผ่านพ้นจากสถานการณ์เหล่านี้ได้คือ การมีสติ
ปราณสถาน คือสถานที่สำหรับการรวบรวมสติโดยการตั้งสมาธิของลมหายใจเพื่อดึงความรู้สึกของเราให้กลับมาสู่ปัจจุบัน
เส้นสายของอาคารในแต่ละส่วนที่ถูกนำมาใช้ภายในโครงการถูกแปลมาจาก ค่าของลมหายใจ ที่สงบนิ่งและมีสติสัมปชัญญะ ค่าเข้าออกของลมหายใจได้ถูกแปลเป็นการบีบเข้าและเปิดออกของพื้นที่ภายในและส่งผลถึงรูปลักษณ์ภายนอกของอาคาร พื้นที่ของ ปราณสถาน ได้ถูกแบ่งออกเป็นเป็น 3 โซนหลัก ตาม 3 ขั้นตอนของการรวบรวมสติ
1. อุโมงค์แห่งการรวบรวมสติ
2. พื้นที่สำหรับเข้าใจสถานะปัจจุบันของตนและสภาพแวดล้อม
3. โดมศูนย์กลางของการรวบรวมสมาธิสู่จุดสูงสุดของการมีสติสัมปชัญญะ
วัสดุไม้สังเคราะห์ spc จาก Smartmatt ได้ถูกนำมาเรียงอย่างละเอียดอ่อนให้เกิดความโค้งมนรวมถึงจังหวะของช่องว่างระหว่างไม้แต่ละชิ้น จะช่วยดึงอารมณ์และความรู้สึกของทุกคนที่เดินเข้ามาในปราณสถาน วัสดุไม้สังเคราะห์และโครงสร้างสามารถถอดและประกอบขึ้นมาใหม่ได้ทั้งหมด รวมถึงการปรับเปลี่ยนรูปทรงให้เหมาะสมกับ function ของกิจกรรมต่าง ๆกับขนาดของพื้นที่และรูปทรงของ site ที่ไม่ตายตัว
