ทางทีม pbm ได้หยิบเอา รูปทรงแปดเหลี่ยม มาใช้เป็นโครงสร้างหลัก ซึ่งเป็นเอกลักษณ์ของงานภูมิสถาปัตยกรรม ถูกตีความใหม่ให้กลายเป็นโครงสร้างหลักของอาคาร เปลี่ยนโครงสร้างให้มีชีวิต สร้างบทสนทนาระหว่างธรรมชาติและสถาปัตยกรรมอย่างกลมกลืน

The pbm architectural team adopted the octagonal form—an iconic feature of the original landscape design—and reinterpreted it as the pavilion’s main structural language. This transforms the structure into a living form, creating a harmonious conversation between nature and architecture.

แรงบันดาลใจของ 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 เริ่มจากการมองภูมิทัศน์ในเชิงสถาปัตยกรรม ทีมออกแบบ pbm ได้ต่อยอดเส้นสายของงาน landscape ที่ไหลต่อเนื่องจากระนาบขึ้นบันได ซ้อนสลับกันอย่างเป็นจังหวะ กลายเป็นทั้งพื้นที่นั่งพัก พื้นที่เล่น และพื้นที่แสดงผลงานอย่างไร้รอยต่อ โดยภูมิสถาปนิกหลักของโครงการ ได้ออกแบบทุกตารางนิ้วแฝงด้วยความตั้งใจให้ “พื้นที่” ทําหน้าที่เป็นสื่อกลางของการพบปะและแลกเปลี่ยน

The inspiration of 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 began with viewing the landscape through an architectural lens. The design team extended the flowing lines of the landscape, rising from the ground plane into rhythmic, alternating steps that serve as seating, play areas, and exhibition spaces without interruption. Every square meter, crafted by the project’s lead landscape architect, is thoughtfully intended to make the “space” a medium
for meeting and exchange.

CMMU Practice

เพราะเราเชื่อว่าการออกแบบที่ดีที่สุด คือการออกแบบเพื่อโลกและเพื่ออนาคต ในโปรเจกต์ปรับปรุงพื้นที่ศูนย์การเรียนรู้ CMMU Practice จากพื้นที่ห้องสมุดวิทยาลัยการจัดการเดิมนี้ ทีม PBM เราใส่ใจในทุกอณูของวัสดุผ่านแนวคิด Adaptive Reuse เราสนุกที่จะท้าทายขีดจำกัดของวัสดุเดิมด้วยเทคนิค Up-cycle ที่เปลี่ยนของที่จะถูกรื้อทิ้ง ทำลายไป ให้กลายเป็นงานดีไซน์ที่มีเอกลักษณ์ การมอบ 2nd Life ให้กับพื้นที่ครั้งนี้ ไม่ใช่แค่การปรับปรุง แต่คือความมุ่งมั่นที่จะส่งต่อแรงบันดาลใจผ่านงานสถาปัตยกรรมที่รับผิดชอบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างที่สุด

At pbm, we believe the finest design is one that serves both the planet and the future. For the transformation of the CMMU Practice—reimagined from the college’s original library—our team has meticulously curated every detail through the lens of Adaptive Reuse. We find joy in challenging the boundaries of existing materials, utilizing Up-cycling techniques to transform what would have been discarded or destroyed into unique design statements. For us, granting a '2nd Life' to this space is more than just a renovation; it is a steadfast commitment to inspiring others through architecture that takes the utmost responsibility for our environment
