Our practice stands at a pivotal moment.

In response to a rapidly changing global political and economic landscape, we are undertaking a bold restructuring. We will reduce our overall staff while forming agile project teams—some internal, some with external collaborators. These teams will operate around a core office, which remains the strategic anchor. This shift, while challenging, positions us to embrace emerging technologies—like AI—and respond to future demands. While it may appear we are starting anew, we see this as a natural evolution—just as we reinvented ourselves two decades ago. As design director, I will continue to ensure every project meets our standards. Risky, yes, but it’s a risk we must take to build the future, not the past.

Despite this transformation, our foundation is solid. Over the past two decades, we’ve delivered groundbreaking work, earning awards that had never been achieved in Thailand before. That legacy is proof of our enduring quality. As we adapt, we do so from a position of strength. Our commitment to excellence, which has defined our practice, remains unwavering. In every project, we will uphold the integrity that has defined us—now and in the future.

We are poised to move forward, and we embrace this change with conviction. This is not a minor adjustment; it’s a significant evolution of who we are. With this shift, we fully expect a wave of exciting projects and fresh opportunities. We’re not just ready to adapt; we are ready to lead this next chapter with the same passion and excellence that have always defined our practice.

As we step boldly into this new phase, we do so with confidence in our legacy and excitement for what lies ahead. We believe that true growth demands courage, and this evolution is our courageous step into the future. We are ready to design tomorrow with the same passion that has defined our past. DBALP’s Commitment to a No-Commission Practice

At DBALP, we firmly uphold our no-commission policy—a principle we have adhered to for the past 27 years as an integral part of our practice.

Our architects and designers do not accept commission payments from product suppliers, nor do we engage in commission-based dealings with client representatives. We believe such practices ultimately harm the client’s best interests and compromise the integrity of our profession in the long run.

Unfortunately, we have observed that commission-based transactions are becoming increasingly normalized within Thailand’s architectural industry. We stand firmly against this.

DBALP operates with a commitment to honest and ethical practice—selecting materials and services for our projects based solely on merit, without financial incentives influencing our decisions. Every member of our team upholds this principle, and we do so with dignity. Similarly, we do not offer commission payments to client representatives or project owners in exchange for securing design contracts. This ensures that our work remains rooted in design integrity, not financial negotiation.

We acknowledge that this stance may not always be the easiest path—it may even pose financial challenges. But at DBALP, we are a design-driven practice, not a profit-driven one.

And for us, that makes all the difference.

ที่ DBALP เรามุ่งมั่นยึดมั่นใน นโยบาย No-Commission ซึ่งเป็นหลักการที่เราปฏิบัติต่อเนื่องมาเป็นเวลากว่า 27 ปี และถือเป็นหัวใจสำคัญของการทำงานของเรา

สถาปนิกและนักออกแบบของเรา ไม่รับค่าคอมมิชชั่นจากซัพพลายเออร์สินค้า และ ไม่จ่ายค่าคอมมิชชั่นให้กับตัวแทนของลูกค้า เพราะเราเชื่อว่าการปฏิบัติแบบนี้ ทำให้ลูกค้าเสียประโยชน์ และส่งผลกระทบต่อความน่าเชื่อถือของวิชาชีพในระยะยาว

เราสังเกตเห็นว่าปัจจุบันแนวทางการทำงานที่พึ่งพาระบบคอมมิชชั่นเริ่มกลายเป็นเรื่องปกติในแวดวงสถาปัตยกรรมของไทย แต่เราไม่สนับสนุนแนวทางนี้โดยสิ้นเชิง

DBALP ยึดมั่นในการทำงานด้วย ความซื่อสัตย์และจริยธรรมวิชาชีพ โดยเลือกใช้วัสดุและบริการต่างๆ ในโครงการของเราโดยไม่มีผลประโยชน์ทางการเงินเข้ามาเกี่ยวข้อง สมาชิกทุกคนในทีมของเรายึดมั่นในหลักการนี้อย่างเต็มภาคภูมิ นอกจากนี้ เรา ไม่จ่ายค่าคอมมิชชั่นให้กับตัวแทนเจ้าของโครงการ เพื่อแลกกับสัญญาการออกแบบ เพราะเราเชื่อว่าการทำงานอย่างอิสระจากผลประโยชน์ทางการเงินคือสิ่งที่รักษา ความเป็นมืออาชีพและความบริสุทธิ์ของแนวคิดการออกแบบ

เราเข้าใจดีว่าการยืนหยัดในหลักการนี้อาจไม่ใช่เส้นทางที่ง่าย และอาจสร้างความท้าทายในแง่รายได้ของเรา แต่สำหรับ DBALP เราเป็นบริษัทที่ขับเคลื่อนด้วยหลักการออกแบบ ไม่ใช่ผลกำไร

และสำหรับเรา นั่นคือสิ่งที่สำคัญที่สุด
