Hey, It's okay I'm exist just to let you know that "it's okay"

Hey, it’s okay.

To the ones who only know how to give…
The ones who pour and pour until there’s barely anything left for themselves…

What happens when the giver gets tired?

When your heart is full of intentions, but your energy feels like it’s being drained by the day…
When people tell you to “rest,” but your mind is staring at mountains that won’t move on their own…
When you try to be yourself, but somehow that version of you is still “not enough” for others…

I know that place.

The place where you feel misunderstood no matter how much you explain…
Where being around people feels more like a responsibility than a comfort…
Where even your silence feels like a problem you have to fix.

So you keep showing up.
You keep giving.
You keep pretending.

But hey… it’s okay to admit this:

You’re tired.

Not weak. Not ungrateful. Not dramatic.
Just… tired.

And maybe right now, rest doesn’t look like stopping everything.
Maybe it starts with allowing yourself to not perform…
To not explain…
To not carry everyone else for a moment.

You are allowed to exist without entertaining.
You are allowed to be quiet without being “too much” or “not enough.”
You are allowed to choose yourself, even if no one understands it yet.

You don’t have to shrink who you are just to fit into someone else’s comfort.

Hey… it’s okay 🤍

To every strong warrior out there, this is for you.

I see how you show up for others. You listen, you support, and you stay steady even when everything around you feels uncertain. People rely on you because you carry strength with grace. But strength does not mean you never feel tired.

Being the strong one can feel heavy. You get used to being the helper, so asking for help feels almost impossible. You worry that showing weakness will let others down. So you push through in silence, even when your heart is running low.

But you deserve care too. You deserve a place to rest without guilt. You deserve people who check on you, the same way you check on them. Even warriors need moments to breathe.

So today, take a moment for yourself. Set boundaries where you need them. Let the people who love you support you. Being strong is not about staying silent. Real strength knows when to pause, when to heal, and when to let God and the people around you hold you for a while.

If this speaks to you, know that you are seen, valued, and supported. Keep standing, but do not forget to rest. You are not alone.

Very soon you will smile and say “ God this is more than I prayed for” | Philippians 4:19

As the year winds down, I find myself reflecting—not just on the plans I made or the milestones I hoped to reach, but on the quiet battles I faced and the lessons God allowed me to learn.

This year wasn’t always easy. There were nights when my prayers felt heavy, and days when I wondered if I had the strength to keep going. Disappointments came like storms, plans unraveled, and people I thought would stay became part of my past. Yet, in those moments of doubt and brokenness, I found God’s hand steadying me. When hope felt distant, His grace reminded me to trust in His timing.

This year taught me about resilience—not the kind I muster on my own, but the kind that comes from leaning into God’s promises. Growth didn’t always come gently. Sometimes, it was through tears and exhaustion. But in the midst of it all, God was faithful. He showed me how to let go of what wasn’t part of His plan, even when it hurt, and to cherish the blessings He placed before me. There were moments that tested me, but also moments when His peace restored me. By His grace, I’ve made it to the end of this year—still standing, still learning, and still trusting Him.

As we step into a new year, my prayer is for a season of renewal—one filled with God’s light, His peace, and His unfailing love. May we leave behind the burdens we weren’t meant to carry and step forward with faith, knowing God is already in our tomorrows.

Whatever the new year holds, may we walk confidently in the truth of His Word, remembering how far He’s brought us. Let’s enter this next chapter with open hearts, knowing that in every trial and every blessing, He remains faithful.

Goodbye, 2024—you’ve been a teacher and a testimony to God’s goodness.

“Why are you down in the dumps, dear soul? Why are you crying the blues? Fix my eyes on God— soon I’ll be praising again. He puts a smile on my face. He’s my God.”

He gets us ;)

Regardless of our life circumstances, we often feel alone. We feel like people know our names, but not many people really "get us." Even if we’re married or have children, we often feel misunderstood. It's rare that we feel like someone really understands our hearts.

That's the wonderful thing about God. Not only did he make us, he has been with us every moment. He’s acutely aware of every thought, movement, dream, and fear. He "gets us”!

This passage reminds us that he travels with us. As you move through this day, he has gone ahead of you. As you reflect on yesterday, he has followed behind you. But best of all, right now in this moment, he places his hand of gracious blessing on your head.

Yes, yours!
