This holiday cottage's purpose is to create the utmost relaxing experience for users to retreat from the chaos of the urban world and people. We try to create the simplest building and construction yet remains beauty of architecture sits harmoniously among the picturesque landscape, mountains, and woods. To give the most precious time that will never be found inside town or anywhere else.
This house is separated into two sides by common areas such as the kitchen, dining area, living space, and semi-outdoor space which gradually split level down respectively. Each wing of the building contains a bedroom that floats from the common area reminding the feeling of coming out of the bedrooms and meeting up in the hall downstair of the house.
Landscape-wise, we aimed to plant the broadleaved trees to cast a shadowed on the building preventing the building from getting direct sunlight and leaving existing trees on site as they are, we make prominent the contours that are already on site to be part of the foundation of building as pictures show. Decorative areas with vegetation and plants which easy to maintain and easy to grow.
From our perspective, this cottage may be just a holiday house but we try our best to deliver the best comforts and relaxing experiences to the clients to let them sit on the couch petting cats worrying about nothing, fully recharged. for the next weekdays :)
