In this piece, I present a contemporary visual interpretation of a wasp, combining anatomical precision with geometric abstraction. I've always been fascinated by the intricate structures of these small creatures—their strict internal organization and functional role within the ecosystem. Through this work, I aim to highlight these aspects by creating a visual composition rooted in symmetry, balance, and natural detail.
The background features a hexagonal pattern inspired by honeycombs, overlaid with vertical lines to introduce a rhythmic, architectural quality. This intersection between the organic form of the insect and the abstract geometry reflects the dynamic relationship between nature and structure, between apparent chaos and underlying order.
I explore transparency, line, repetition, and variation—inviting viewers to consider the beauty found in often overlooked details and in forms we tend to see as “secondary” within the natural world.
This piece is an invitation to contemplate nature’s systems—not as static structures, but as living, precise, and awe-inspiring mechanisms.
