Bu yerleştirme, mimarlık üretiminde modüler, tekrarlı sistemlerden organik, akışkan ve algoritmik biçimlere uzanan dönüşümü araştırır. “Arada” teması, bu iki üretim kültürü arasında kalan eşiği; biçimsel olduğu kadar araçsal bir kırılma alanı olarak ele alır.
Çalışmanın merkezinde klasik bir Lego parçası yer alır: tanımlı, rasyonel ve modüler bir sistemin temsilcisi. Bu parça, dijital ortamda parametrik olarak evrilir; bir yüzü köşeli ve ölçülü kalırken, diğer yüzü akışkan ve belirsiz biçimlere dönüşür. Her parça, analog ile dijital, modül ile morf arasında bir geçiş nesnesidir.
Parçalar, LIA ofisinde 3D yazıcı ile biyobazlı mat PLA filament kullanılarak üretilmiştir. Tek renk yüzey, sade bir anlatımı ve sürdürülebilir bir üretim anlayışını temsil eder. Parçaların birleşimi, hem fiziksel hem de kavramsal düzeyde iki üretim kültürünü bir araya getirir.
Bu proje, bu iki üretim anlayışı arasında kalan mimar kuşakların deneyimini görünür kılmayı amaçlar. Ne tamamen analog bir sistem içinde yetişmiş, ne de dijital doğan bu nesil; üretim araçlarının, kavramlarının ve form dillerinin kesişiminde konumlanmıştır. “Arada” olmak, burada bir nostalji değil; iki üretim kültürü arasında kurulan yeni bir ifade alanıdır.
Bu üretim önerisi, mimarlıkta biçim ve araç arasındaki dönüşümün fiziksel bir yorumu olarak düşünülebilir. Aynı zamanda mimarlık eğitimindeki kuşaklar arası farkları ve üretim dili üzerindeki etkilerini görünür kılmak adına deneysel bir zeminde ilerler. Modülden morfa uzanan bu geçiş, yalnızca formun değil; düşünme ve üretme biçimlerinin evrimini temsil eder.
Bienal için önerilen bu çalışma, “arada kalmak” hâlini bir eksiklik ya da geçici durum olarak değil; üretken bir kırılma anı olarak ele alır. Kesişimde kalmak, burada bir tercih değil; yeni bir üretim biçiminin doğduğu eşiktir.

This installation explores the transformation of architectural production from modular and repetitive systems to organic, fluid, and algorithmic forms. The theme “Arada” (In Between) is interpreted as a space of transition between two approaches to making — a zone of both formal and procedural transformation.
At the center of the work lies a classic Lego piece, representing a rational, modular system. In the digital environment, this piece is parametrically evolved: one side remains angular and measured, while the other transforms into a fluid, indeterminate form. Each element becomes a transitional object, existing between the analog and the digital, between the module and the morph.
The pieces were produced at LIA Studio using a 3D printer and bio-based PLA filament. The monochrome surface reflects both a minimal aesthetic and a sustainable mode of production. Their assembly merges two cultures of making — physically and conceptually.
This project aims to make visible the experience of architectural generations situated between these two paradigms. Neither fully analog nor digitally native, this generation operates at the intersection of tools, concepts, and formal languages. Being “in between” here is not nostalgic; it is a new field of expression emerging from coexistence.
This work translates the evolving relationship between form and process in architecture into a tangible expression. It proposes an experimental ground where generational transitions reshape the language of design and the tools of making. The shift from module to morph is not merely formal but reflects a transformation in how architecture thinks, constructs, and defines itself. Within the Biennial, being in between is reimagined not as a void or a temporary state, but as a transformative rupture — a space where different modes of production coexist and new expressions emerge. The intersection itself becomes a generative ground for a new architectural language.
