思念的距離是一件物品一場相遇

祖輩務農，又曾輩起由苗栗銅鑼翻山越嶺來到花蓮；漂泊寫在骨子裡，戀物也不例外。

那時，書信很慢，一件物品是與一個人一段時光的邂逅。也是曾以為能夠再見的思念，到頭來只留下了一件回憶的木匣子。

而仲夏園的建立，累積了許許多多為這段佳話奔走的愛人與過客。回望來時，曾認為能夠記得的某些部分，降低了解析度。

這或許寫在仲夏園的院落裡，來訪的賓客不多，每一位都彌足珍惜與特別。便試著努力的在為每一個來到方寸裡的植物書信一段，我們與來自世界各地友人的留聲。
