各位知道展覽中販賣的蝶類標本是如何採集的嗎？許多消費者以為是透過蝴蝶自然死亡後再進行採集加工處理的，但事實上，那些鱗片美麗鮮明的蝴蝶標本，其實是透過人為飼養或野外捕獲的剛羽化成型的蝴蝶製作而成的，換言之，在牠們脫繭而出展開翅膀的那一刻就走向了命運的終點。
藝術的本質應該是有意義且使人愉悅的，而不是犧牲平均壽命只有兩個禮拜的蝴蝶🦋，只為滿足人們觀賞或收藏的目的。

Would like to share some thoughts after visiting the insect expo hoping to raise the awareness of the truth behind the butterfly specimen collection.

Do you know how the butterfly specimens are collected? Many believe they are obtained after the butterflies die naturally, but in reality, these specimens are coming from the breeding farm and captured right after the butterflies’ emergence. In other words, they meet their fate at the moment they unfold their wings.
Art should be meaningful and joyful, not at the cost of a butterfly’s short lifespan just to satisfy collectors, agree?
