MAUD was founded in 2014, employing a team of 25 forward-thinking architects, visionary urbanists, and environmental technologists. The firm

is spearheaded by British-educated, Taiwanese-born Managing Director, Max Chimin Yang. What do we do:

C 型建築立面設計｜青藍框景
垂直序列，建立廠房識別

C 型立面以青藍色矩形框架標示二樓辦公空間，搭配規律排列的垂直構件，在灰白建築量體中形成鮮明焦點。框架向外突出，增加立面深度，也為大面窗帶提供遮陽，降低熱帶氣候下的日照影響。

白色水平線條串聯屋頂、樓層與入口，深色玻璃則強化辦公區的視覺層次。當相同設計沿園區街廓連續展開，青藍框景便成為辨識各棟廠辦的共同語彙，在整體秩序中保留清楚而一致的建築形象。

Type C Façade Design｜Turquoise Frames
Vertical Rhythm Defines the Industrial Identity
The Type C façade features turquoise rectangular frames highlighting the upper-level offices. Paired with evenly spaced vertical fins, they create a distinctive focal point against the grey-and-white building mass. Projecting outward, the frames add depth while shading the expansive windows and reducing direct solar exposure in the tropical climate.
White horizontal lines connect the roof, floor levels, and entrances, while dark glazing adds visual depth to the office areas. Repeated along the industrial park’s streetscape, the turquoise frames form a shared architectural language, giving each factory-office building a clear and consistent identity within the overall composition.

以錯位構圖強化入口識別

B 型立面以醒目的紅色量體框架勾勒上層辦公空間，透過水平延伸與錯位構圖，形成鮮明的入口意象。深色玻璃、垂直構件與白色量體相互穿插，在簡潔的立面中建立清晰層次。
紅色框架向外延伸形成遮蔽，降低強烈日照與雨水對辦公空間及入口區域的影響，下方則保留開放的作業空間，配合車行與卸貨動線，支援日常營運。鮮明色彩進一步強化建築在園區中的辨識度，傳達科技產業的效率、活力與專業形象。

Type B｜Red Volumetric Frame
A Dynamic Composition for a Distinctive Entrance
Type B features a vivid red volumetric frame defining the upper-level office space. Its horizontal extension and offset composition create a distinctive entrance, while dark glazing, vertical elements, and white volumes establish clear layers across the facade.
The projecting frame provides additional shelter, reducing the impact of intense sunlight and heavy rainfall on the office and entrance areas. The open workspace below supports vehicle access and loading operations, helping maintain an efficient daily workflow. As a strong visual accent, the red frame strengthens the building’s identity within the industrial park while expressing the efficiency, energy, and professional character of the technology sector.

A 型立面以大尺度藍色框架包覆上層辦公空間，透過水平延伸與轉角設計，形成鮮明的建築輪廓。深色玻璃、垂直構件與白色量體交錯排列，在簡潔的立面中建立細緻節奏。
向外延伸的框架同時形成遮蔽，降低強烈日照與雨水對室內及入口區域的影響。明亮的藍色成為園區中的視覺識別，使廠房在維持專業形象的同時，展現科技產業所代表的活力與前瞻性。

Type A｜Blue Cantilevered Frame
A Bold Architectural Frame for a Distinctive Entrance
Type A features a large-scale blue frame wrapping around the upper-level office space. Its horizontal extension and continuous corner treatment create a distinctive architectural outline, while dark glazing, vertical elements, and white volumes establish a refined façade rhythm.
The projecting frame also provides additional shelter, reducing the impact of intense sunlight and heavy rainfall on the interior and entrance areas. The vivid blue accent strengthens the building’s identity within the industrial park, expressing the energy and forward-looking character of the technology sector.

Building thermal performance refers to a building’s ability to absorb, block, store, and release heat in response to external climate conditions. It affects indoor temperature and shapes the sense of comfort created by air movement, humidity, daylight, and radiant heat. Before air conditioning and mechanical systems come into play, architecture already responds to climate through orientation, openings, shading, materials, insulation, and landscape strategies, reducing heat loads and dependence on mechanical equipment. As energy costs rise and extreme heat becomes part of everyday life, thermal performance is no longer merely an energy issue. It is the starting point of comfort and an environmental consideration that must be addressed from the earliest stages of design.

建築熱性能，指的是建築面對外部氣候時，吸收、阻擋、儲存與釋放熱量的能力。它影響室內溫度，也關係到空氣流動、濕度、日照與輻射熱所形成的舒適感。在空調與機電系統介入前，建築已透過朝向、開口、遮陽、材料、隔熱與植栽配置回應氣候，降低熱負荷並減少對機械設備的依賴。當能源成本上升、極端高溫成為日常，熱性能已不只是能源議題，更是舒適度的起點，也是設計初期就必須納入思考的環境課題。

Architecture may appear still,yet it quietly carries the beliefs of the people and businesses it serves.When architecture learns to work with the land it occupies, rainwater is harvested, heat is kept at bay, and sunlight becomes a source of energy rather than a burden. BCIP was conceived at the masterplan scale, organizing 24 factory-office units into four zones through four distinct façade typologies, creating an ordered yet varied architectural identity across the development.

This introduction focuses on Type C: Offset Box Form.
The design adopts offset volumes as its primary architectural language. Through strategic recesses and shifting massing, the building achieves a layered and dynamic façade composition. The office frontage integrates solid volumes, glazed surfaces, and translucent metal screens, balancing privacy while introducing soft natural daylight and creating a rich sense of depth that changes throughout the day.
Across the terraced units, a composition of grey and white volumes reinforces visual distinction and identity. Through the interplay of material contrasts and solid-void relationships, the architecture maintains a clear overall order while introducing rhythm and variation to the continuous streetscape.

BCIP設計從園區尺度的總體規劃出發，將24間廠辦單元劃分為四個區域，透過4種立面語彙建立有秩序的變化。

本次介紹 Type C：錯位盒設計Offset Box Form
整體以錯位量體作為主要立面語彙，透過前後退縮與量體錯動，塑造富有層次的建築表情。辦公區立面運用實體量體、玻璃介面與半透明金屬面板的交錯配置，在維持隱私性的同時，引入柔和自然光，並隨光線變化呈現不同的立面層次。連棟建築則以灰白色塊進行區分，透過材質與虛實關係的轉換，建立清晰的識別性，在整體秩序中保有適度的變化與節奏。
