Safe Living Waters Africa; It’s a WASH initiative of Youth Empowered Uganda purposely working towards providing access to safe clean water, good sanitation & hygiene, improved health to children and women coupled with sharing the knowledge of CHRIST. With funding from Congregation of Churches, Volunteers to individual well-wishers the initiative has been able to; construct new shallow & deep wells

, Spring wells, rehabilitate broken down water pumps& wells, and offer Sanitation and Hygiene education to rural communities in Uganda, East Africa.

Every year, humans produce 300 million tonnes of plastic waste, including 11 million tonnes that eventually wind up in the ocean. By 2050, there could be more plastic than fish in our seas.

We all have a role to play to , even amid COVID-19 & other crises: refuse plastic cutlery & straws, use refillable water bottles, and bring your own coffee cups & shopping bags.

Launching some of Show Mercy International boreholes in Buikwe, where women and girls have been protected from ra**st who have been ra**ng them whenever they could go deep down the hills through sugarcane plantation to fetch 💧💧💧. Safe clean drinking water has been extended nearer to their Home. You too can be of support towards the task of making the Invisible groundwater Visible to Children and Women.
