A little over a year ago, I felled a small cherry tree on a property to allow space for building a 2300 sq ft post and beam addition, to a house that was originally built in the late 1700s.
That cherry is now dry and ready to work.
This cutting board is from one of the slabs that I milled from that cherry log. What beautiful coloration and figure! The curling throughout the board was a pleasant surprise. Now what to make from the rest of the lumber🤔

Things have been hectic the past couple of weeks. Between illness, the dog taking I'll, and losing a dear friend, I've been a little behind listing some recently finished items. If you scroll down, you'll see some of the amazing boards that have just left the shop. Message if interested. Still time to get them out for Christmas!
