Finally attacked this server. Took 2 rounds of paint stripper and a scraper along with almost a dozen sanding discs. Soooo many layers of various stain and paint. Now to decide how to finish off the top.

Good morning and happy Wednesday to everyone! Yesterday was a busy day for us at Woodstock Antiques 5643 Bealls Ferry Rd. Open Monday through Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM Sunday noon to 6. Aisle B, vendor PLT. Here’s some of the new treasures that we added yesterday.

A trip down memory lane....5 years ago, we got a call from Woodstock Antiques Mall asking us if we would like to move into a booth just prior to Memorial Day Weekend? "Heck, yes!" was our answer!!!! Then the real work began (and has not stopped)....we measured out the size of our booth in our driveway and started to lay it out. Yikes! As reality set in, we soon realized there was so much to learn! It was not just finding the treasures, but also staging and grouping, customer likes, and how much has to happen behind the scenes to pull it all together. Not to mention the business requirements (I. HATE. PAPERWORK!!!!). In looking at so many of our pictures from over our journey, we have come a long way baby!!! Big thanks to Woodstock Antiques for giving us a chance in this space! It has been a ride....Thanks also to the folks we have met along the way - too many to mention but I'm sure you know who you are! Looking forward to many more memories!!!!
