We are loving the powder room makeover that Amy and I completed this week.
Home Depot Vanity $199, light fixture Hampton Bay Truitt $59.97 retail but we paid less for special sale. Caulking for the backsplash to the wall. Wax ring for toilet that sparked this powder room renovation. For the Baseboards we switched to a 4 inch from a 3 inch like the rest of the downstairs. Cover plates are an amazing upgrade Amerelle Cottage. The accent wall we used American Pacific Planking Coastal Ivory, cost is $40.94 per x2. The wall bowed in so the planks gave us an even surface to install the sink flush.
Costco rug $15.99 and matching hand towels are $10.99 for two.
We sold the old vanity and sink on Facebook to help offset costs and it had a bit of water damage on the back since it didn’t have a back splash.

Closet renovation,
Home Depot, black rod holder brackets, cost, $5.47 per x 4. The boards are Everbuilt 72” shelf x 2 cut to fit, cost $21.98 each.
Shoe rack Walmart cost $54.43 per x 3. The boards are a perfect color match. The picture only shows one. We used toggle bolts to anchor them in if there wasn’t a stud to screw into, cost $3.71 for a three pack toggle bolts. Rods are Everbuilt 72” to 120” adjustable black, cost $20.68 and Everbuilt 30” to 48” cost $12.58 for the back wall.
Screws were #12 1-3/4, cost $9.29 for a box.
Paint used is BEHR MARQUEE French Silver cost $56.98 for a gallon.

After 21 years of providing water to the house, we decided it was time to replace our old water heater. We upgraded from a 40-gallon to a 50-gallon model. The previous unit was starting to lose heat and pressure, and we didn't want to risk it failing during the winter months.
With the extra 10 gallons, we're enjoying consistent hot water, and the water pressure has improved as well.
Submitting the receipt to the insurance for a discount.
Davis & Sons Plumbing through Home Depot did an excellent job!!
