How much will junk removal cost me? Well, that's situational. It depends how much junk you have, how much it weighs, and how long it takes us to remove it. Generally speaking, a big pick up truck's load of junk costs around $60 - $80, but can cost up to $100 depending on the weight, etc. A job where we just pull up to your garage and throw the debris on in a matter of 5 minutes, that's going to be a lot cheaper than say a job where you're having us go to various locations on your property to pull items out, etc. Our truck is the size of 12 yard roll off dumpster. A 8 yard roll of dumpster costs around $240 plus whatever it costs to dump it, so you're looking at $300 for that, we'll do the same amount, but more, because our truck is bigger, and we'll do allt he work, all the loading, for the same price, $240 or cheaper, that is if you a whole truck's worth. Is there anyway I can save money on junk removal? If you get pine straw from us and junk removal services from us on the same visit, there's a discount. We also offer a senior citizen discount as well. The best way to save yourself money on a junk removal job is to put all the junk in a central location where we can back the truck up to, etc. Do you offer a senior citizen discount? Yes, we do. We love to help our "seasoned" citizens out! No rush for them. Just point to what you want gone and we take it away. It's best to schedule full basement or attic clean outs on days where we don't have as many jobs going on, so that we can give you our time in an unrushed manner. What junk will you not take? Just no food! What about paint? We'll take paint, just be honest about how much you have, it's one of the most expensive items to get rid of. $5 a gallon. We do not take tires. Will you pick up yard debris? Yes we will. Yard debris jobs can be some of the most expensive, because they take the most time. If you want to save money, try to bag up leaves, grass, etc., and bring it to the street or put it all in a central location where we can get the truck close to. Bring limbs, wood, debris to the street or a central location as well. We'll remove any yard debris, but if it's a giant pile in the back of your property where we can't get a truck to, you may just want to burn it after October. We do not take pieces longer than 10 ft long. Do you recycle? Yes, we recycle all metal products. We also take nicer items, couches, tables, etc. to thrift stores, however this happens rarely, as we are in the JUNK removal business. Can I get a discount for recyclable items, such as washers, dryers, fridges, hot water heaters, etc.? Yes and no. People have this idea that you can get a TON of money from scrapping these items. Honestly, we can get about around $5 for these type of items from a scrap yard, which is hardly worth the gas money and manpower (takes two men to lift most of these items safely) to take these items to a scrapyard. If you have a lot of other junk that we're picking up, we don't necessarily count the weight of the recyclable appliances, so if if we're doing a larger job for you, scrap items will save you some money.
