Summer is slowly coming to an end and fall images will start to slowly come alive as things die off, until then we embrace the beautiful colorful moments summer had to off us.

Photography day happening the other day had me thinking about why I started in the first place. How I desperately needed an outlet when what felt like the worst of the worst was happening in my life. I needed an escape...

Photography gave me the best outlet because not only did it allow my creative/artistic side to explore but it also gave me a better prespective on life.

16+ years later I am a respected photographer in my community and still staying humble of how things all began. Nature is where I started, with natural lighting barely any knowledge on what I was doing but here I am snagging images like this.

Feeling blessed that I am here, never forgetting where this passion came from.

There is always something about a moment in time being captured, such as this..

Nikki and I have grown to be extremely good friends due to the studio, in this moment she giving me another opportunity to work with a talented model and learning to shoot specifically in black and white.

Shooting in black and white directly is much different than color. You have to worry a lot more about how light is hitting your subject, the way shadows are being applied and contrasting just right.

She is a force to be wreckon with when it comes to working with her. Not only is she a professional model, she is willing to teach things too which makes the experience more successful on both sides of the camera. I'm extremely grateful to have moments like these to hold on to in images because this is what this industry should be all about.

Light & airy is probably the best style I could have chose to do with Lillith, she is almost always showcased in dramatic, sexy imagery and although she rocks that look she has a feminine side that goes completely unnoticed.

Here at NHImagery I am looking to expose the uncommon styles for people so they can be seen in all aspects of who they are. Shining a spot light on exactly who they are.
