First we battled the drought, now we are battling the rain, and our newest foe, the dreaded tomato hornworm. They will devastate a plant over night.

It’s time to break out the BT insecticide for the worms and the liquid copper fungicide before we start get diseases on our tomato and pepper plants.

When you free range your chickens sometime they decide where the best nesting spots are even though they have perfectly good nesting boxes in the dry barn.

These eggs will go to the dogs since we unsure of their age.

Planting blackberry bushes in raised beds means installing new drip irrigation.

Using an automatic watering timer and drip irrigation allows us to easily provide consistent water even when Mother Nature isn’t, using black berry plants from Hoss mean we know we are getting great plants, and adding a small amount of Coop Gro organic fertilizer when planting means these plants are getting a great start to their new life.

I know it seem a long ways off with summer heat just starting but if you are interested in adding drip irrigation to your garden this fall let us know and we will see what we can do to help you out.

The farm stand is open.

We have moved the last of the zucchini and cucumbers to the refrigerator where there are still plenty of eggs.

Unfortunately all the baked goods from Giggly Goose Bakery are sold, but we do have their granola, bread dip, and sour dough starter in stock. DaddyO Farms hot sauce 🥵 is in stock as well as the effective, all natural skeeter spray 🦟 from Heart and Soil Homestead .

Y’all really worked the farm stand over yesterday, and I love it!!!

We still have plenty of eggs in the refrigerator, pet treats and DaddyO Farms hot sauce are restocked, and there is still a jalapeño cheddar loaf and some banana pudding cookies on the shelf.

I have talked to the Giggly Goose Bakery about dropping off some more goodies. I will keep you updated when they have landed.
