Well, I just learned Friday that there is a scam going on out there targeting businesses. I got a text from a lady wanting me to install a bunch of locks but wanted to pay me by credit card over the phone. She asked if she could put a deposit down and send some extra for me to pay her Realtor who hadn't been paid yet for finding her house. I didn't question the job until she asked me to take extra and pay it to someone else. I made some calls and found out that the address she gave me for her Realtor and for the property where she wanted work done were both currently for sale and neither were under contract. Also, neither her number nor her Realtors number were valid numbers that could be traced or called. I had my suspicions confirmed by the Realtor of one of the properties and he asked me to do what I can to let others know of the scam. Just be careful in your business deals.
