We're very excited to be offering our candles at the newly opened Beau's Market & Deli in Copley! Located where Shisler's Cheese operated for 20 years, Beau's offers specialty foods, wines, craft beer, and gift items (like our friends Not Yo' Daddy's Mexican Hot Sauce). It's a great spot for lunch or dinner, with hours extending to 7 pm during the week and 9 pm on the weekends.

And if you're like me and have missed the West Point Market, "It's a bridge into the gourmet specialty foods that were sold at West Point Market, where three of Beau's owners or managers formerly worked. They include co-manager Jamie Boyd, who formerly ran the West Point wine department; Christina Lusk, who ran West Point's cheese department; and Lynch, formerly a wine consultant at West Point."

Beau's Market & Deli, which had soft opening in February, continues with Boar's Head meats, cheeses; expands wines, opens full-service restaurant.

"Akron’s backyard beekeepers and gardeners are buzzing with excitement from a recent update in city code removing some plants from Akron’s noxious weeds list.

The amended ordinance, passed on Monday by Akron City Council, allows local gardeners to grow plants previously banned on private property, such as milkweed and goldenrod, that are vital to thriving pollinator populations."
