I've been lazy at updating the page but here's a new post!

We finished phase 1 of this project today rebuilding the front steps railings. We upgraded all posts from 4x4 to 6x6 and added solar LED lights. We will finish the rest of the porch posts and railings off later this Summer.

How do you vet the businesses that come into your home and do repairs? Word of mouth is a great way but is that person insured or do they carry a business license? Do they have a track record of showing up as promised and/or taking care of issues that may arise after everything is said and done?

Do your research before trusting someone with your home and money. In times of economic uncertainty more and more people come out of the woodwork trying to make a quick buck and a "handyman" is one of those prime fields you will see it most in.

Sometimes the lowest price costs more in the long run so protect yourself.

It's amazing what low voltage lighting can do to the curb appeal of your home! This system was installed using LED lighting, photocell (automatically turns on and off with ambient light) technology, and a strong enough transformer to not only insure long term dependability but also the capabilities of adding additional lighting if desired at a later time.

LVP kitchen flooring project we knocked out this week. This product allowed us to overlay the existing roll linoleum rather than have to expend effort removing it.

All composite means that it won't swell up with exposure to water.

It just struck me that after almost a week and a half off from work that I'm not dreading going back. Much of that has to do with an amazing and loyal customer base.

This year I'm thankful for a career that allows me to utilize my talents and gives me the freedom to actually get out and live rather than just exist.

This customer wanted to rehab her bathroom vanity so we put together a plan for her. We installed a brand new quartz top...

This customer wanted to rehab her bathroom vanity so we put together a plan for her.

We installed a brand new quartz top with undermounted porcelain sink, new faucet, replaced the mirror with necessary wall repair, and painted the vanity.

This is a great lower budget option as opposed to replacing the entire vanity and having to potentially match the flooring gaps.
