This is a hot mess of a chaos garden!
Before planting our vegetable garden each year, we cover the garden bed with the discarded hay from under the rabbit cages which has quite a bit of fertilizer mixed in. 🐇
Well this year we had such a surprise to find oats, sunflowers and what we think are pumpkins as volunteer growth. After feeding the oats/weeds to the animals, we will be planting our veggies around the volunteers.
Best made plans make God laugh.
