I am going to start making these vanity makeup mirrors to sell. I can make custom sizes and colors to your liking. Right now I am pricing components so I don't have a firm price yet but they should come in at about $250. To $280 depending on options.

I made a wooden ice chest box as a gift for a friend for his birthday. I really felt like I should have asked Ino if I could use his ice chest as a guinea pig but I don't think he minded after all. I've been wanting to try it out and see what it would look like and I think it came out ok for a first time prototype. What do you guys think?

Thank you Johnny Ayala for trusting us to take care of your problem. My buddy Johnny calls me up on Saturday that he thinks his washer hoses are leaking and if I can go check it out. Well after quite a while I find the problem. The house was one of the first in the subdivision and almost 30 years old. The washer drain pipe was almost completely clogged with years and years of buildup. I had to break open the wall to expose the drain plumbing and then cut open the pipes to find the problem. After a trip to buy the parts to get the washer draining again I was able to get them working again. I was finally able to get out there today to replace the wall. Sheetrock, float &tape, and texture done. Now just waiting till it dries to paint.

I did a little clean up condition on Linda's plancha it was pretty rough but I was able to get all the rust off of it and smooth it out as much as possible. I then used the propane torch to heat it up to 350-400 and I treated it to prevent rust. Now the more she uses it the better it will get.

Well it's the weekend again and I'm trying to cut the grass. I get started and then the tractor starts throwing white smoke and dies. I push it into the now working garage and start troubleshooting. Gas oil spark check out so its time to dig deeper. I grab the engine compression tester and find out that I only have 15 pounds of compression and it drains out to 0 in 5 minutes or less. I was thinking either bad valves, piston rings or blown head gasket. So I pull the valve cover off and check in the engine. The push rods look good when I remove them so I remove the head. The valves look good and the cylinder wall still has the factory crosshatch visible but then I see the head gasket. There is a 1" piece blown thru between the exhaust port and the cylinder. Everything else looks good but the part store is closed. The head gasket should cost about $18.00 but since the part store is closed I'm stuck until I can get the parts. Well it's time to go to the tool store and buy a wire brush to remove the old gasket and a inch pound torque wrench.

I've got a garage door to fix today. The main torsion spring broke again so time to replace. I'm going to convert to a dual spring setup to make the springs last longer this time and replace all the cables and drums. The only problem is that the job is at my house and I won't get paid.

Sorry it's been a while since I've posted but work and family keep me busy. This last weekend I was able to get out and fix a fence this weekend. I hope the dog stays in and the neighbors dog stays out.
