Soil matters…We added this line of high-quality potting soils & fertilizers at the start of the 2025 season. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. You cannot find this line at the big box stores…Coast of Maine is exclusive to independent garden centers and retailers.

Most of their blends are organic and OMRI labeled. Many have lobster and crab shell meal for natural slow release nutrients perfect for flowers or edibles. We carry several of their top selling blends including their 3 best sellers (and by the way we store our soil inside under cover so no muddy mess!!)😀👍

1. Coast of Maine Bar Harbor Blend. OMRI listed. An all-purpose blend in 1 & 2 cubic foot bags, perfect for herbs, veggies and flowers. Hot Pink bag.

2. Coast of Maine Castile Blend Raised Bed Mix in 2 cubic foot bags. OMRI listed. Perfect to be used straight out of the bed for all containers & raised beds. No additional conditioners or compost needed. Contains compost, lobster & crab shell meal, kelp meal, worm castings and mycorrhizae (beneficial fungi). Mint green colored bag.

3. Coast of Maine Quoddy Blend Compost with Lobster & Crab in 1 cubic foot bags. OMRI listed. Perfect as a soil additive/conditioner for your existing raised beds or ground beds. Helps revitalize soils. Lime green bags.
