Wow. I was honestly starting to feel pretty hopeless about finding sponsors for our jackpot—and then this happened.

Just yesterday, I sent out emails to companies I drive past every day here in the South Valley—local businesses I see working hard in our community. I truly believe there are good Albuquerque companies that still believe in supporting agriculture and our youth.

A huge shout-out to Star Paving and to Chris for making a donation to support the Duke City Steer & Heifer Jackpot. The response was incredibly fast, and I was honestly taken aback.

Their donation will be used to help support awards and other event needs as necessary. We truly appreciate the support of our kids, agriculture, and this event. 💚🐮
