We were honored to host the inaugural Albuquerque Public Schools Indigenous Home Design Competition this past weekend. The free competition invited Kindergarten–12th grade students across APS to imagine homes rooted in Indigenous culture, language, and tradition. 🏠✨

With 60+ student participants, this event was about more than design — it was about empowering Indigenous youth to see themselves as future designers, architects, and storytellers of place. Our philanthropy at IDS+A is grounded in connecting culture, language, and tradition through design, and we are inspired by the creativity and vision shared by every student who participated.

Here at IDS+A, we are humbly honored to celebrate the grand opening of the Tuba City Senior Center. From visioning and design to construction and completion, this project represents a full-circle journey rooted in care, respect, and responsibility.
Guided by Indigenous mindsets and practices, we approached this work with the understanding that our elders are the keepers of knowledge, stories, and strength.

This center was shaped to be more than a building... it is a place of gathering, healing, and continuity for generations to come.
We are deeply grateful for the trust, collaboration, and shared commitment that made this space possible. Today, we celebrate community, culture, and the enduring wisdom that guides us forward.🫂🌟

We are humbled and gracious to announce the upcoming groundbreaking of the Bylas Early Childhood HeadStart Facility in Bylas, Arizona (San Carlos Apache Tribe). Here at IDS+A, we express our deepest gratitude for the opportunity to work and collaborate on this project over the past several years. The Bylas community will have the long-awaited opportunity to provide resources to the community's youth and beyond, promoting a healthy and positive learning environment for people of all ages. 👏🎊✏

It was a special day last Wednesday, October 9th, as we joined the San Carlos Community in celebrating the start of construction with a groundbreaking ceremony for their new Head Start Education Facility. We have been gracious to provide our services over the past several years to get the project to this point. We are excited to see the building finally provide much needed educational resources to the community's youth and beyond. 👏🧑‍🏫📚

We have some exciting news here at IDS+A .... this week we celebrate the groundbreaking of the San Carlos Head Start Education Facility in San Carlos, Arizona. We are extremely grateful to be granted the opportunity to work and collaborate on this project over the course of several years to get it ready for this phase. We are thrilled to see this building finally provide the community of San Carlos with the resources essential for early childhood education and beyond. ✏🍎
