EFFECTIVE AUG. 1: Starting Monday, homes in Albert Lea will have coverage for repairs to their water and sewer lines, unless property owners decline the program. The protection program costs $5.50 per month and will be included on utility bills starting in September. To decline the program, call the Finance Department at 377-4300. This old cast iron boiler would have been hard pressed to make it through another heating season.

This IBC boiler took the place of two electric water heaters. Now one unit provides the space heating and on demand hot water for the sink. Not only does this save valuable floor space, but energy savings too!
