Benton Fence started as a small residential fence installation company in 1971 by Wesley McCrotty. As the business has changed hands a few times since then we purchased it in 2011 and we got back to the roots of doing quality work and striving for each customer have a positive experience. A little rain didn't stop us today! People ask us all the time if it rains will it be delayed. Short answer is yes, BUT there are scenarios that won't stop us. Today a little drizzle, sod that wasn't new, and not a lot of mud. So we got them in the ground ready for tomorrow.

Let's talk about gates!

Here are some things to think about when choosing a fence contractor.

Every gate is different. Sizes, is it on a slope, what hinges work best, what kind of latch, do we want to lock it, do you want to be able to open from both sides or just one side, does it need compression bracing or tension bracing?

And the magic question you should ask yourself. Do I need to put a wheel on it? We have a saying here that if our customer has to put a wheel on it then we failed! No wheels!!!!

We bring 40+ years of experience with us to each job. We fabricate 99% of our own gates. We custom build each one.

Please consider these things when deciding on the right company for you. We don't just go buy a square gate off the shelf and make it work.
