Just wrapped this project up!
Servpro ripped up part of the flooring for a water leak. I came in and tore the rest out, prepped, and installed new 3/4” hardwood flooring! Along with the flooring I replaced the water damaged drywall in the basement. Sadly i forgot to take pictures of the basement 🤦‍♂️

A small job, but a quality one!

Customers grandson was carrying salt downstairs and the stair tread broke! So i came in and replaced 3 treads and 1 riser for them!

Well what started as a job to fix drywall seams and scrape the popcorn ceiling turned into way more.

As we were demoing the fireplace we found the improper drywall was used on both walls and ceilings! So the homeowner chose to start from scratch!
Along the way we found that studs and ceiling joists were uneven/crowned too far to cover. So we furred out everything to make a nice flat finish! Along with that we reinforced the spanning beam and built a box run to cover it and the duct work!

Lengthy description but a unique one!

Another project for the couple moving from Alberta! The plumbers who came to fix the plumbing that burst prior to the the house being sold knocked out a section of a load bearing block wall casually the joists to sag and push the load to other joists. In addition to that the joist in the middle of the doorway had a shim put under it causing a crown in the floor.

I came in over the course of a week and jacked up the sagging areas and built in a load bearing wall to support it all.

Now to take care of the crown! While planning what to do i noticed the old joist were spliced and only siting on a block wall by 1/4”. So what i did was take a jack pole and support the crowned joist and knock out the shim and then slowly let down the joist to where the structure would allow. And then i proceeded to build another load bearing wall across the joists that needed the support.

Finish may not look 100% to some, but it need 911 help. And i promise you that it is quality sound work! Plus this house is a full reno without a solid plan. Fit and finish will take care of everything.

There was a deck that had much needed repairs, so we did just that!
All bad boards were replaced and a corner post was aded for support, along with a full resurface and a handrail!
