Most people are unaware of this but in November of 2025 our president Donald J. Trump, love him or hate him signed into law a lot of new changes for the cannabis industry. Some very good, some very bad. The good, it reclassified medical cannabis from a schedule 1 drug to a lesser schedule 3 drug which opens the door to research. The bad, it did not change anything for recreational use. Another good thing is it is trying to stop the sale of all the synthetic man made h**p products sprayed with harmful chemicals. Now for the bad. Under the 2017 H**p Farm Bill Act the DEA stated in a written letter that since cannabis seeds themselves contained no THC they were declared legal and unregulated which opened the doors for thousands of growers such as myself to open up their seed businesses. The new law signed by President Trump states that if that cannabis seed could grow a cannabis plant that contains THC they are now illegal and considered Federally illegal and considered the same as ma*****na. He has given all seed companies in the USA until November of 2026 to cease and desist. Many larger companies have already sold out to overseas companies. After November the only way you will be able to receive seeds is to either order them from overseas companies like we had to do in the good ole days or to have your own personal stash or know someone that does.
