📡 Trees Near Cell Towers Show Stunted Growth and Stress from Constant Radiation, Study Shows 🌳
A comprehensive study conducted in Germany has revealed concerning effects of electromagnetic radiation from mobile phone base stations on nearby trees. Over a nine-year period, researchers observed that trees situated close to cell towers exhibited significant damage, particularly on the side facing the radiation source. This damage included reduced leaf area, bark abnormalities, and overall stunted growth.
The study involved detailed monitoring of 120 trees in various locations, comparing those exposed to high levels of radiation with those in low-radiation areas. Findings indicated that trees in high-radiation zones displayed noticeable damage, whereas those in low-radiation zones remained healthy. This suggests a direct correlation between electromagnetic exposure from cell towers and adverse effects on tree health.
These results underscore the need for further research into the environmental impact of electromagnetic fields and consideration of such effects in the planning and placement of mobile phone base stations.
