Our experience spans from educational, municipal and healthcare facilities, commercial retail and office buildings, to recreational spaces, and places of worship for a client base that is expanding across the tri-state area of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. Established in January of 2005, MKSD architects is located in Lehigh Valley, and licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as an architectural firm. Our firm is owned by three partners; Silvia Hoffman, AIA, LEED AP, Todd O. Hewes, AIA, LEED AP, NCARB. MKSD architects is also licensed to perform architecture in New Jersey and Delaware and is certified by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of General Services and the City of Philadelphia as a Women Business Enterprise (WBE) firm.

Congratulations to DaVinci Science Center on the Grand Opening of their new facility in downtown Allentown today. MKSD along with our team, HB Engineers, Barry Isett, Metro Acoustics and Corsi Associates, are proud to have played a part in the design of this amazing building and we are grateful for Alvin H. MKSD was proud to join St. Luke's University Hospital Network in celebrating today's ribbon cutting of the New Monroe Hospital East Tower Expansion. The addition will provide expanded surgical, nursing, pharmacy, administration and food service space to allow the hospital to better serve the Monroe County community.

We would like to thank St. Luke's for their continued trust in us as a partner and for our engineering partners Pennoni, Snyder Hoffman and Bohler for helping us make this a reality for the network!

Our firm is owned by three partners; Silvia Hoffman, AIA, LEED AP, Todd O. Chambers, AIA, NCARB, and Jill P. Hewes, RA, LEED AP BD+C. MKSD architects is also licensed to perform architecture in New Jersey and Delaware and is certified by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of General Services and the City of Philadelphia as a Women Business Enterprise (WBE) firm. Our firm features eight Pennsylvania-registered architects, five LEED accredited professionals, and two NCARB licensed architects.
