This custom 60” × 35” live-edge river table started as two raw sycamore hardwood slabs and is now the centerpiece of Sue and Tom’s home. Every grain pattern, every curve, and every detail is completely one of a kind, there will never be another table exactly like it.

From the custom steel base to the hand-finished edges, every step was built with craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the goal of creating something that will be enjoyed for generations.

Another beautiful transformation completed by Life’s Edge LLC.

This project was all about bringing new life back into a 45-year-old luxury cherry kitchen while preserving the timeless character and craftsmanship that made it special in the first place.

We refinished the cabinetry, updated the hardware, and carefully modernized the overall look while still honoring the warmth and richness of the original cherry cabinets. The goal was never to replace or reface the kitchen it was to revive it.

Projects like this are what we take pride in: restoring quality craftsmanship, improving functionality, and helping homeowners fall in love with their space all over again.

A huge thank you to Carol for trusting Life’s Edge LLC with her home and this full kitchen transformation. Another project wrapped up and officially in the books.

One found its home… one is still waiting. 🐾

Our custom large-breed river table food station is officially SOLD, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Seeing these pieces become part of a dog’s everyday life never gets old.

But this smaller river-style station is still up for grabs, perfect for a small breed who deserves the same comfort, quality, and handcrafted detail. Built with the same care, same durability, and same love… just sized for the little ones.

Some projects are about more than wood.

We recently had the privilege of restoring two small bunny baskets that hold a lifetime of memories. These pieces were originally handcrafted by our client’s late father when she was just a child. A simple Easter tradition that became a cherished family heirloom.

Our goal wasn’t to make them look new. It was to carefully refinish them in a rich dark walnut while preserving the character, wear, and charm that tells their story.

Now they’re ready for the next generation of Easter mornings.

Restoring pieces like this is a reminder that woodworking isn’t just about building things, it’s about preserving the memories attached to them.

It was another great week of woodworking for Life’s Edge LLC! We were able to complete a beautiful (30”x6’x1 1/4” thick) Black Cherry Glue up top for a DIY desk that our customer wanted to build!

Definitely a premium piece of hardwood that’s going to last a long time!! We completed the crack filling, glue up, flattening, and first course of sanding. He completed the rest!!

Great Job Mike!! It turned out amazing!!! It was a pleasure working with you!

Ps we surprised him with a sweet CNC engraving and black epoxy inlay!

It was another great weekend of woodworking for Life’s Edge LLC! We were able to complete our Butcher block countertop installation!!

It was definitely a challenge working with an incredibly hard species of wood (Curupau or Patagonian Rosewood).

It turned out amazing and another satisfied customer!! Thank you for the opportunity and it was a pleasure working with you Sasha!
