1. We are CLOSED Saturday, September 5th for Labor Day weekend! Make sure to stop in and get your plant fix before then!
2. THE PROP VAULT IS REOPENING SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12TH! 🌱
The remodel took WAY longer than expected because our building is over 100 years old and honestly, I’m tired lol. Be on the lookout for how we plan to refill the vault!

I memorize it all so when you hold up a plant and ask me, “Can I keep this alive?” I can honestly tell you.

Variegated African Violets & Black Bat Flowers!

This specific African Violet is called Harmony’s Love Bug, and between those variegated leaves and sweet little blooms, she’s pretty hard not to love. African Violets are one of our personal favorites! We recommend bottom watering to keep water from sitting on the fuzzy leaves and giving them plenty of bright, indirect light. Even better, they can bloom throughout the year!

Now the Black Bat Flower, Tacca chantrieri, is just freaking cool! When she blooms, she resembles a bat with wings and a little face! The second photo shows what her blooms look like and is not our photo. She likes to stay on the moister side with bright, indirect light indoors or shade outdoors. You can expect blooms in late summer into early fall.
