Pieper O’Brien Herr Architects was pleased to support Ken Mills in his journey to earn an Architecture Merit Badge from the Boy Scouts of America. Eric Clementi, AIA, Associate Principal met with Ken and offered a technical briefing about building models, how construction drawings are created, building materials, and energy efficient features, all requirements of the merit badge program.

Wasi Baig has returned to Pieper O’Brien Herr Architects for another semester of Internship. This past summer, Wasi participated in GA Tech’s International Undergraduate Architecture Studio + Electives classes in Barcelona, Spain. He is on track to graduate from Georgia Tech in December, and we are happy to have him back.

Congratulations to Hal Hardin on his winning Photo of the Month from our project in Jefferson, Georgia. Pictured are the hexagonal, castellated beams inside the new distribution center designed by Pieper O’Brien Herr Architects. Castellated beams are structural channels designed to increase the beam's depth and strength without adding additional material & weight.
