Summer break brings the kick-off of Greek housing construction projects! We are excited to be working with Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity Housing Corporation on a project for their chapter at Oklahoma State University. Our construction partner, Little Dixie Construction, recently demolished the existing chapter house, which will allow for the construction of a new 27,752 square foot house. The new house will include accommodations for 68 live-in members, a house director’s suite, multiple TV lounges, a craft room, a chapter room, a dining room, a commercial kitchen, study rooms, and a third-floor outdoor terrace. We appreciate our relationship with Zeta Tau Alpha and look forward to seeing this project progress!

Construction Update:

Construction is progressing nicely at the Pi Beta Phi, Missouri Alpha chapter house at the University of Missouri! We designed renovations to the existing building and an addition that is located at the rear of the original house.

Renovations to the existing building, constructed in 1930, include new finishes and lighting, a new residential bathroom, and a completely updated basement. The renovated basement will include a banner painting room, a 24/7 snack kitchen, a study lounge, a conference room, executive offices, test/interview rooms, a t-shirt storage closet, and a ritual closet. The 12,000 SF addition includes a combination dining and chapter room, a serving area and commercial kitchen. It also includes bedrooms, TV lounges, residential bathrooms and three outdoor terraces.

We have been fortunate to work with a great team on this project - our client, Pi Beta Phi, the contractor, Little Dixie Construction, and the project manager, CSL Management, LLC. Construction is scheduled to be completed later this summer. Follow along for photos of the finished project!

So proud that one of our team members, Will Robarge, was elected as the next President of the Kansas AIA!

We're thrilled to share that Will Robarge, associate principal in our Special Interest Housing studio, has been chosen as President-Elect of AIA Kansas! Will has served in many roles within the chapter, including the AIA National Disaster Assistance Committee and Director at Large for the Board of Directors.

“I'm looking forward to serving on the AIA Kansas Board, and I am excited for this opportunity to continue to serve my fellow professionals and my community," says Will.

It was a special day for Alpha Chi Omega at University of Arizona as they celebrated the dedication of their beautiful, renovated chapter house! TreanorHL was honored to partner with Alpha Chi Omega Sorority National Housing Corporation, CSL Management, LLC, Lloyd Construction Company, Inc., and Raegan Ford Interior Design to create a home for the 300+ member chapter.

The TreanorHL team of Kyle Ray and Erin Stachowiak worked with AXO to design an addition and renovations for the Beta Lambda chapter. The renovated house will allow the chapter to provide additional space for its members to live, study, meet and socialize. We hope the house helps to strengthen the bonds of sisterhood for the Real.Strong.Women.® of the Beta Lambda chapter!

We were excited to join Delta Gamma- Mississippi State University to celebrate the expansion and renovation of their chapter house, which was designed by TreanorHL Architects Kyle Ray and Ke Zhao. We were fortunate to work with a great team that included Codaray Construction and The Kalos Group to create this beautiful home for the sorority.

Special thanks to the amazing alumnae volunteers who worked tirelessly to make this project a reality. We hope this house contributes to a memorable sisterhood experience for their chapter members!

Members from our Greek Life team had a great time at the Fraternal Housing Association Annual Housing Conference in Savannah. It was a great time to connect with national fraternity and sorority housing staff and other strategic partners. TreanorHL’s client liaison, Whitney Byars, did a joint presentation with Greg Somers of SAE on the “Intersection Between Recruitment and Housing.” Erin Stachowiak, a designer with our firm, was chosen to be the strategic partner liaison for a second year.

We are designing an addition and renovations to the ΑΟΠ house at Ole Miss, with construction to begin next summer.
