GMA ran a segment recently on something called ""fun-starved"" — the idea that Americans are so burned out, so budget-conscious, and so mentally depleted that they've stopped doing things that are just purely, genuinely fun.

We thought about that a lot. And then we looked around our kitchens.

The people in here aren't thinking about their inbox. They're not doom-scrolling. They're elbow-deep in pasta dough, laughing at something that just went sideways, and about to eat one of the best meals they've made in their life.

Turns out the kitchen is a pretty good cure for fun-starved.

Farmer's markets are in full bloom and so is our June schedule! 🍅🍋 This weekend in the kitchen we're working on handmade pasta, crispy eggplant parm, and dinosaur cupcakes for the littles!
