You’ve probably heard about the “Porch Goose” possibly the “Porch Pig” but may I present the Porch Goat(s) 😂😂 These two are my escape artists and let me tell ya, they are not fazed in the LEAST about the electric fence that is supposed to contain them. The sheep happily remain in their designated areas, but not these guys. They agree that the grass is indeed “greener on the other side” and feel the need to escape their confines pretty much daily. They are a lot of fun to have around, honestly they are like little dogs. If you leave a house door open too long, be careful because they are liable to just walk right on in! They are curious creatures and love getting their noggins scratched. Bo and Daisy definitely give the homestead some extra personality. So if you ever drive by and see these guys meandering about the property grazing wherever they see fit, lounging on the porch or jumping up on the windowsill trying to get a peek inside just know that we have tried and are resigned to the fact that these guys are gonna just go where they want when they want. Thankfully they happily go into an enclosed pen that they cannot escape at night but during the day, all bets are off 🤣
