Hurricane season starts June 1. Most commercial property storm prep focuses on roofs, windows, and drainage. HVAC systems usually come up after the fact, when something is not working and the building is already occupied.

The damage that shows up the day after a storm is the obvious kind. The damage that shows up weeks later, slow corrosion in electrical compartments, compressors weakened by surge events, condenser coils restricted by debris impact, is usually the more expensive kind. And most of it is preventable.
