Shop was closed today because it was Tuesday and I’m always closed Tuesdays, but was also involved in a special project. 😉

If you know my husband you know he is the sweetest, most helpful person you’ll ever meet, but he also has a quirky sense of humor.
Yesterday he ran over to the Hill, by himself, to take down a heavy lamp I sold( remember the big stained glass pendant I found in Kentucky on the way to our daughter’s wedding? Yeah that one) and put of a few of these vintage Moroccan style pendants (I actually have 9 of these available).
He sent me the second photo when he was done to show me how well they turned out.
I thought to myself they look great, but wondered what was causing the weird purple color on the middle lamp. I zoomed in to fine he put a black light in it.🤦🏼‍♀️
When I asked him why, he said he thought it looked cool.🫠
And this is why he’s a wealth manager and I run Persnickety.🤣
I’ll be over later this week to get the correct bulbs in.
Until then we can celebrate Halloween in June.🤣👻💀🎃

A whole bunch of new stained glass arrived today and will be in the Alton shop Wednesday and might add a few smaller pieces to the hill,we’ll see.

Well Darlings, I’m making the call.
I woke up with a sore throat, stuffy nose and sound like a man.🤒
My backups for the shop are out of town and honestly with it being Father’s Day and the storms that are forecast I figured it will be a slow day anyway.
So the shop will be closed today & tomorrow.
You might still catch me in there by chance IF I feel better later ,I have a big project I need to complete by Tuesday afternoon, so I may try to go in, but don’t count on it.🫠

I apologize for any inconvenience, but will reopen Wednesday at 10am.
