I have been quietly working on something for the past few months… and it’s exciting!!!

I purchased and renovated an A frame cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Georgia…. (!!!!!!) and it’s now available to book on Airbnb.
I present to you Moonrise A Frame 🌖🌛🌙
It’s truly a magical place designed to be a retreat for artists, couples, or any souls in need of rest and inspiration. I’ve stocked it with all my favorite things, including tea, nespresso, candles, and handmade pottery available for sale.
The month of March is almost fully booked but there are spaces available going into the summer and fall and it’s at a discounted rate right now while I generate reviews.
I hope you get a chance to stop by!! ⛰️🏞️

“Making a Living” in 2025 🎨🖌️💪 A big part of being a full time creative is creative thinking and problem solving. You have to develop the ability to be flexible and balance your vision with the needs of your clients and the market. I took a lot of risks this year, had a lot of successes and a lot of challenges. I am so grateful to be doing what I’ve wanted to do since I was a little girl and being able to show my children that art and life can coexist. I hope they believe they can be anything they want to be when they grow up. I hope you believe that too.❤️ I can’t believe I’m actually doing it! Thank you to all my amazing clients

Turning tired furniture into timeless beauty.🪑✨

I live by the belief that anything can be made beautiful again with a little bit of love and attention. When I found the frame of the barrel chair, it was in such bad condition that it was about to be thrown away. I fortified the frame, retied the springs myself and added new foam and batting before reupholstering it in an antique tapestry fitting with the period that the frame was constructed in. Sometimes the best restorations are ones where you can’t tell they were ever restored in the first place!

I like to imagine this is how these pieces could have looked in the first place. This cool chair went to Virginia and the pair of accent chairs upholstered in Duponi silk went to a wellness retreat here in the Houston Heights district. 📍

I previously listed a few of my upholstered pieces on Etsy and customised furnishings are definitely something I’d love to do more of. Shall I bring more of these unique pieces back?👀

Day and night in the master, featuring drapery. 🪟

Around a month ago, I flew back to my client’s residence to put the final touches on their master bedroom.

The luxurious drapery is made from some of my favorite Fortuny fabric. With its traditional damask pattern and heavy texture, hung high on a classic bronze rod, these full-length curtains frame the window beautifully and draw the eye upward, emphasizing the room’s generous height and architectural details.

This bedroom radiates warmth and this fabric definitely enhances the rich palette of deep browns, golds, and warm neutrals.

Mixed with the stunning Indian art deco rug from (also vintage Fortuny fabric), I am in love with how these final furnishings brought the space together. ✨

Time for a dramatic bathroom redesign. 🚿

This bathroom underwent a considerable transformation, trading its traditional, soft blue tones and standard cabinetry for a bold, industrial-chic look.

Leading on the design and management of this project, I opted to replace the dated tile with rich wooden flooring, adding extra warmth and texture.

The old large mirror was swapped for two sleek, framed mirrors that bring symmetry and focus above the Jack and Jill sink.

The centrepiece of this redesign is the striking exposed brick accent wall, paired with updated matte black fixtures and industrial-style lighting for a modern edge. 🧱

The shower got a modern upgrade too with a new seamless glass enclosure and pebble-tile flooring that adds tactile depth.

From basic and functional to bold and boutique, this bathroom now feels like a curated retreat. 🛁

A moment of calm at 🌿

I’ve been trying more lately to find the time to create for myself and make art just for the joy of it. Not for a client. Not for a deadline. Not for an audience. Just for me.

As artists, especially those who create professionally, it’s so easy to get caught in the loop of productivity. But creativity doesn’t thrive under pressure alone. It also needs freedom, curiosity, and play.

Some of my favorite pieces have come from those unplanned, messy art sessions. 🖌️

If you’re feeling burnt out or uninspired, take a moment to create something completely useless. Something just for you. Your inner artist deserves that space to breathe. 🤍

It’s time we got to know each other better!☺️

I’ve done a brief introduction before, but today I wanted to share where this journey of mine started and how I ended up building the business of my dreams.💭

Scroll for some major throwbacks, my first claim to fame aged 13, a more personal get to know me, and some of my dreams for future projects…

If you’re just now finding me and are looking to embark on bringing your own vision to life, welcome! Let’s chat about how we can collaborate on bringing that dream to life. 🏠

If you’ve been around here for a while, I want to thank you for your support and I hope you now feel a little bit closer to me and to my work.🤍

An office fit for James Bond himself! 👀

The brief for this client’s office was James Bond meets Mid Century Modern. With that in mind, I crafted a moody den with a rock wall and dramatic lighting to showcase the client’s collection of minerals and books. 📚

Topped off with a range of classy Herman Miller Furniture and Sputnik lighting, this captivating space was infused with a cool touch.🤵🏻

It truly felt like being on a movie set when we first walked into this finished space. What do you think, is this space fit for 007?🍸

Let me tell you a story about the woman who helps bring my interior dreams to life.👩🏼‍🤝‍👩🏽

My Aunt Donna lives in Lancaster, PA on the beautiful farmland that is home to the Amish and famous for handicrafts and excellent workmanship.

She has been making custom bedding and window treatments for high profile interior designers along the East Coast since before I was born, all from her small basement work room. 🪡

These types of small bespoke workrooms are dying out as people turn to mass production and larger scale workrooms overseas. However, Donna’s skill is unmatched and comes from years of experience. She has taught me so much about the complexities of drapery with the precise measurements and accounting needed. People often wonder why custom drapery costs so much, but once you see how much labor and thought goes into designing and creating custom curtains you will wonder why it doesn’t cost more!

I am so lucky to have my Aunt as an exclusive connection to bring to life anything I dream up! Most of the vintage stock trims and metal embroidered tapes I use have to be hand sewed by her- as seen on the scalloped pillow with the vintage metal embroidery and the 17th century French tapestry she appliquéd onto a pillow for me. Because of my Aunt, I also have exclusive access to some vintage stash and free rein of her remnant collection as well (thank goodness for family perks!) ✨

She says I’m her favorite designer and I love working with her, although we both might be a little biased! ☺️
