The frost arrived this morning, marking the close of our 2025 season.
Thank you for visiting and for sharing our flowers as we continue on our healing journey. We miss our sweet Des deeply, and this year’s field was more beautiful than ever — a true tribute to her.
A special thanks to a few dedicated volunteers who wish to be anonymous. Please know you made a huge impact on me and the field. ♥️
We look forward to seeing you again in the spring for daffodils, tulips, ranunculus, anemones, peonies, and more.

Take time to enjoy these last sweet days of summer by picking some flowers!
🌼 The field is open Friday & Saturday from dawn to dusk
🌼 Other times available by appointment
You can also schedule a day to bring a group—pick flowers together and hear the devotional story of how this field came to be.
We love seeing people enjoy the gift of flowers and the peace this space brings. 💛

🌻 We have flowers! 🌸

Zinnias and sunflowers are in bloom, and we’d love for you to come enjoy them! This week, we’re opening the field for the holiday. Dawn to dusk. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday for you to stop by and pick your own bouquet. Starting next week, the gate will be open Fridays & Saturdays dawn to dusk for flower picking. Or we can schedule an appointment through direct message! 💐🌸

📝 You’ll find directions, snips, and solo cups on the table by the gate and inside the high tunnel, -feel free to bring your own vase if you like!

💕 We offer 5 complimentary flowers per person per season — after that, we kindly ask for donations to help keep this little flower space growing. (Honor system 🌼)

🌻 The field is OPEN today!🌻
The sun is shining, the sunflowers are blooming, and it’s the perfect day to come pick a little joy from the earth. 💛🌞

Sunflowers have always reminded me of my mom 💛
bright, strong, and full of grace.
So what a perfect day for the flowers to be ready,
standing tall and turning toward the light,
just like you always do. 🌻

If anyone wants to stop by today, the gate is open — come enjoy the flowers! Message us for instructions and/or directions.

Starting next week, we’ll be opening the field dawn to dusk every Friday & Saturday, or by appointment.

Grateful for this amazing crew of Master Gardener students who showed up for today’s work day! 🙌🌿

They tackled some big tasks — planting gladiolus, removing the old high tunnel plastic for the summer, and taking on a jungle of out-of-control weeds in the tunnel. 💪🌸 It was a huge job, but many hands really do make light work.

As a bonus, a few folks went home with fresh flowers — well deserved! 💐

Just finished planting the dahlias! 🌸
We’ve got 5 ¾ rows in the ground… do we find more to finish that last bit? 👀
Huge love and gratitude to Diane Morley at Grace Garden Blooms (💐—thank you!!) for the gifted special-named dahlias in remembrance of Des, Grandma and us. Truly meaningful. 💖

Mason, Nola, Megan, and Paige — you legends helped get 13 boxes of dahlias in the dirt! 💪🌼

Grab them while they’re still in bloom — they won’t last long!

After peony season, we’ll have a little flower break until July…
But don’t worry, July brings a burst of color with zinnias and sunflowers! 🌻💐
