Hi all, things are changing in our industry. Starting now 13 SEER rated A/C units will be gone when inventory runs out. This means we cannot replace just the outdoor condenser without replacing the indoor evaporater coil. This converts the system from r-22 to r-410a.
Also new, is HVAC equipment will be heading towards communicating controls and away from the old 24 volt controls. Variable speed blowers,fans, compressors are on the way to being standard practice.Good news = higher efficiencies....Bad news = higher install costs.
