Ryobi has recalled 770,000 pressure washers due to a risk of explosion.
The capacitor can overheat and burst

"The pressure washers' capacitor can overheat and burst, causing parts to be forcefully ejected, posing a risk of serious injury from impact to the user or bystanders."

There have been 41 reports of such incidents.

Unlike the 220,000 walk behind mowers that would randomly catch on fire due to battery overheating and the120,000 hedge trimmers that would turn on by themselves they are NOT replacing these units.
